Several years ago, following retirement from my non artistic career, I once again found the time to follow my love of artistic expression. My partner and I enjoy the beauty of nature and travel extensively, mostly to the more remote parts of Australia and further afield, which has facilitated a great opportunity for me to capture the flora and magnificent endemic and native animals of Australia through my painting.

In 2021, in collaboration with Waldo Bayley, the seed of an idea to write and illustrate a children's poetry book was planted. The book was published, printed and launched in November 2022.

Whilst illustration is a totally unique form of artistic expression, when compared to fine art, and not a style I had embraced until this collaboration, the journey over the past two years has been a wonderful and rewarding artistic experience.
